• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a citizen or legal resident of Nepal.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete personal and financial information as required for KYC verification.
• Not be legally prohibited from entering into financial contracts under the laws of Nepal.

3. Hire Purchase Services

Batas Hire Purchase Pvt. Ltd. provides hire purchase financing under the regulatory framework of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). By applying for our services:

• Application: You authorize us to verify your identity, conduct credit checks via the Credit Information Bureau (CIB) of Nepal, and assess your financial eligibility.
• Agreement: Approval of your application creates a binding hire purchase agreement governed by the Hire Purchase Act of Nepal and applicable NRB directives.
• Repayment: You agree to make EMI payments on the scheduled dates. Late payments may attract penalties as specified in your hire purchase agreement.
• Ownership: Ownership of the financed asset transfers to you only upon full repayment of all dues, including interest and charges.

4. User Obligations

When using our services, you agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate information at all times.
• Not use our services for any unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
• Safeguard your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Comply with all applicable laws of Nepal, including AML/CFT regulations.
• Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and application — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the exclusive property of Batas Hire Purchase Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws of Nepal. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Nepal, Batas Hire Purchase Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services, including but not limited to loss of data, financial loss, or service interruption.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or any applicable law. Termination does not relieve you of any outstanding financial obligations under your hire purchase agreement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Nepal.
